Rodrigo Kede Lima

President for Latin America and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Corporation

As president for Latin America and corporate vice president of Microsoft Corporation, Rodrigo's top priority is to focus on further accelerating the digital transformation of Latin American countries and communities by adopting technologies from cloud services to AI, while enabling Microsoft customers in the region to accelerate their business growth as they create their own path to digital transformation. Committed to building diverse teams and training different communities to foster opportunities that promote and sustain economic prosperity, Rodrigo is responsible for Microsoft's entire product, service and support offering in Latin America and leads a business that includes 30 offices in 22 countries. Rodrigo is an empathetic leader, with a deep understanding of what Digital Transformation means. He has held multiple national and international roles working in the U.S., Latin America and Asia.

Rodrigo began his career at IBM in Corporate Finance, led the Services Division in Brazil and then became President of IBM Brazil. After a period at Brazilian company TOTVS, he rejoined IBM as president for Latin America and then moved to the U.S. to lead IBM's global services business. He is a member of the board of Directors of Suzano Pulp and Paper (one of the largest Brazilian global companies) and also sits on the advisory board of Agrotools (a startup focused on sustainability solutions). He is also part of the Advisory Board of the Fundação Dom Cabral Business School. Previously, he was president of the Institute of Financial Executives in Brazil (IBEF) from 2016 to 2017 and a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Brazil from 2013 to 2015. Rodrigo is currently a member of YPO's global leadership community. Rodrigo is passionate about technology, especially AI, and a strong advocate that the combination of technology and good people will make this world a much better and fairer place.

Rodrigo is a Mechanical and Production Engineer from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro; he holds an MBA in Finance/Capital Markets from the INSPER Institute of São Paulo and graduated from Harvard Business School, AMP Class 1992. In his free time, Rodrigo loves surfing and biking, traveling and reading with his family. He is married to his wife Cynthia, has 2 children, and currently lives in Greenwich, CT, USA.
